Description
Engage in conversation with author, Dr. Russell Fielding from Coastal Carolina University, as he shares his inspiration behind the book Breadfruit: Three Global Journeys of a Bountiful Tree. He will cover its botanical history, the darker history of its spread to the Caribbean via the Bounty, and its future as a sustainable food source.

Breadfruit is a highly nutritious, gluten-free tropical superfood packed with complex carbohydrates, fiber, and essential minerals like potassium and magnesium. Its high-fiber, low-fat content aids digestion, weight management, and heart health while providing sustained energy.

Come taste a sample of a breadfruit recipe.
