Film Screening: Consider the Conversation
A Documentary on a Taboo Subject
Walk-Ins Welcome Join us for a powerful one-hour documentary screening of Consider the Conversation: a documentary on a taboo subject. Through real-life interviews, poignant personal stories, and thoughtful commentary by medical and end-of-life experts, this film gently opens the door to one of the most important — and often avoided — topics we face: how we want to live at the end of our lives.
The film opens with people on the street answering a simple but profound question: "Where would you rather die - in a hospital or at home?" Everyone said the same thing: at home, surrounded by loved ones - not in a hospital or nursing facility among strangers. And yet, most people never talk about their wishes until it is too late.
Following the screening, we will host a 30-minute conversation, for questions, reflections, and shared insights facilitated by Brian Long of the Death Cafe program.
This is not a film about death. It's a film about living fully — right to the end. Let this experience help you to take the first step toward a conversation that truly matters. - Details
