   The Library Advisory Board and library staff are developing a strategic plan for the coming years, and we need your input.

   Friends of Chapin Memorial Library members are invited to a special, members-only input session moderated by Library Board Member Mary Jeffcoat. Your feedback will help shape future library programs, services, and improvements.

   Coffee and sweet treats will be served. Registration is required.

   The Friends of Chapin Memorial Library is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that supports Chapin Memorial Library through funding and advocacy. Friends members pay for an annual membership or a lifetime membership to support the library and library activities.

   Do you know someone who wants to participate in this members-only event but isn’t a member of the Friends of CML? They can become a Friends member to attend the session on August 4th by registering at the library or through the Friends' webpage or participate in public sessions scheduled for the early fall.

   About the Author: Paula J. Johnson is a curator and public historian at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. She conducts research and collects objects relating to the history and culture of American food and serves as the Director of the Smithsonian’s Food History Project.
