    Kids Act Up! Summer Camp

    Monday through Friday * 9:00am to 12:30pm * Friends & Family Showcase on Friday at 12:00pm

    Free Summer Theatre Camp at Chapin Memorial Library. Hosted by Educator, Amanda Masterpaul, kids will explore acting challenges and focus on creating their original works. Funding was made possible thanks to Alternate ROOTS, the Mellon Foundation, and the Ford Foundation.

    *Commitment Advisory: All participants must be committed to each daily session, Monday through Friday. Drop-off/pick-up is expected to be handled promptly.

    *Notice of photography/filming: By signing up for this class you are acknowledging and consenting that participants could be photographed and recorded for media purposes.

  3. Chair Yoga - 11:00 AM

    Yoga for You - Chair Yoga Join Wendy Bass, an instructor with the City of Myrtle Beach Recreation Division, for chair yoga. Chair yoga stretches the joints and muscles through deep breathing and gental movement. No experience necessary.
  4. Meet and Greet Roger Jones - 1:30 PM

    Author Roger Jones, businessman, philanthropist, humanitarian, and avid athlete, has founded numerous business and community organizations. During a 2012 trip to East Germany to receive intensive radiation treatment for Neuroendocrine Cancer, Roger pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a writer. His debut novel that is equal parts thrilling and inspiring, THE FINAL VICTORY is the heart-wrenching story of twenty brave men and women confronting adversity, facing death, and striving together for the ultimate triumph. A proud man humbled by his recent diagnosis of neuroendocrine cancer and his past mistakes, Tripp Avery reluctantly agrees to coach a paddling team in a bid to win the Mixed Masters' Dragon Boat US national championship.

    B-RAD the Magician is helping us celebrate summer reading! Kids will learn that they can create their own magical adventures at the library.
