Kids Act Up! Summer Camp
Monday through Friday * 9:00am to 12:30pm * Friends & Family Showcase on Friday at 12:00pm
Free Summer Theatre Camp at Chapin Memorial Library. Hosted by Educator, Amanda Masterpaul, kids will explore acting challenges and focus on creating their original works. Funding was made possible thanks to Alternate ROOTS, the Mellon Foundation, and the Ford Foundation.
*Commitment Advisory: All participants must be committed to each daily session, Monday through Friday. Drop-off/pick-up is expected to be handled promptly.

James Webb Telescope Space Exploration - 11:00 AM

Learn about the James Webb Telescope and view beautiful and thrilling images unlike any seen before from space with Ian Hewitt, NASA Ambassador. Ian Hewitt teaches Astronomy and Computer Science at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also an Adjunct Researcher at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences Astronomy and Astrophysics Laboratory and a NASA Ambassador.

Line Dancing at the Library - 3:00 PM

Join us for a line dancing adventure!
Ashley will teach you some basic, low-impact line dances, and then have a line dance party.
For ages 18 and up. A liability waiver will need to be completed to participate in this class. It can be picked up at the front desk.
