    Join Wendy Bass, an instructor with the City of Myrtle Beach Recreation Division, for chair yoga plus.

    Chair Yoga Plus is a beginner-friendly, modified yoga session that uses a chair for support and includes seated and standing poses to improve flexibility, balance, and strength. The classes focus on gentle stretching, mindful breathing techniques, and relaxation to promote overall physical and mental well-being, making them suitable for a wide range of fitness levels.

    No experience necessary.

    Join us for a local speaker series featuring first-hand recollections from Myrtle Beach area residents. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The series will be live-streamed via our Friends of Chapin Memorial Library Facebook page.

A dancer, beauty queen, model, radio personality, landscape designer, and tireless community advocate, Terri has experienced the city from every angle—on stage, on air, and behind the scenes of local change.

    Join us as Terri shares her remarkable journey, her deep roots in Myrtle Beach, and the stories behind a life dedicated to community, resilience, and preserving what makes this place home.
