    Enjoy rhymes, fingerplays, music, bubbles, and playtime with age appropriate toys.

  2. (11:00 am) Speed Puzzle Event (2 person team timed event)

    Location: Chapin Memorial Library - Non-Fiction Area (102)
    Program Type: Adult

    Speed Puzzle: two-person teams compete to complete a 500-piece puzzle the fastest. The winning team wins a prize. Please register as a team, register the captain then add guest. Four Teams can compete. Registration begins June 1, 2025.

    Would you like assistance with refreshing your job search skills, updating your resume, or filling out an online job application? The Library is partnering with the Goodwill Career Opportunity Center to bring a Career Navigator to the library to assist you.

    Reserve your 30-minute appointment by calling the Information Services desk at 843-918-1295.

    The Seahawk Writers’ and Poets’ Group
    2nd Tuesday of the month • 3:00pm-4:30pm • Age 18+

    The group will be led by Bo Bryan, Myrtle Beach Poet Laureate and author. Expect discussions on the craft and practice of writing. Why do writers write? Why do poets feel the need to reach out?

    Teens in the Kitchen

    Teens will learn basic kitchen safety guidelines, knife skills, and more while they prep and cook a simple yet delicious meal. Hosted by Rebecca Antill, Book/Plates Food Education. Dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
